2009 PHOTOGRAPHY/DIGITAL ART SHOW ENTRY

ELIGIBILITY: Utah artists
18 yrs. and older may submit original artwork
in PHOTOGRAPHY (digital
or film; traditional photographic image
can be manipulated using filters or brushes)
and/or DIGITAL ART (composite
image, collage or montage of original photo-
graphy, text and/or digital art that is
created using laying process.) This may
also include Dig. Art/Painterly (single
image giving impression of a painting.)
SIZE LIMIT: 48” x 48” or
the equivalent, and can weigh no more than
40 lbs. All pieces must be framed or gallery
wrap& wired (screw eyes and wire only)
for secure hanging. Glass is recommended
for greater protection, but not required.

SUBMISSION OF ARTWORK:
Deliver art SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER
26 from 10 a.m. to Noon to the
Health & Justice Building, 151 South
University Avenue in Provo, Utah County
Art Gallery, Main Floor.
TWO WORKS OF ART MAY BE SUBMITTED.
A $10.00 non-refundable fee will
be charged per entry. If a work
is sold as a result of appearing in this
exhibit, Utah County Art Board shall receive
a 20% commission of the sale price. The
board may use images of works for current
or future publicity and reserves the right
to restrict acceptance of art due to community
standards: no nudes, racism, sexism, or
radical politics.
JURIED SHOW: Each category
will be judged separately, with awards given
for 1stPlace ($250), 2ndPlace ($150), 3rd
Place ($75).Best of Show ($300). Honorable
Mention awards to be announced.
INSURANCE: While reasonable
precautions will be taken against damage,
theft, and loss, artists entering this exhibit
assume all liability, and must sign a release
form when submitting artwork.
RECEPTION & AWARDS CEREMONY:
A reception honoring exhibiting
artists will be held FRIDAY, OCTOBER
2 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Awards Program
begins at 7 p.m. Refreshments and
live music are planned.
PICK-UP ART WORK: All
accepted artwork must remain in the exhibit
for the duration of the show through November
20. You may pick up your artwork on Friday,
Nov. 20 from 3:30 – 5:30 pm or Saturday,
November 21 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
