"Shelter From The
Storm"
In wind-blown clothing of
slate and blue, a girl wraps herself and tries to
shelter herself from the winds that threaten to
blow her away.
She is bombarded by the
winds which blow to and fro, tossed about by every
wind of doctrine.
She could represent Mother
Eve being driven from the garden. Of course, Eve
probably didn't wear printed cloth, but the
"feel" of battling against the elements
seems appropriate for the feeling that Eve must
have felt, being driven from her first home.
The piece measures
18" wide by 30" tall.
